About Me

Dr. Caitlin Morrison, OD, FAAO, FSLS

Dr. Morrison is passionate about designing specialty contact lenses to restore sight to those who have lost vision due to severe ocular surface conditions including keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, radial keratotomy, corneal scarring, pediatric aphakia, severe dry eye, corneal transplants, and ocular disfigurement.

After graduating from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Dr. Morrison completed a Cornea & Contact Lens Residency at SUNY College of Optometry in New York City.

She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), a Fellow of the Scleral Lens Society (FSLS), and the recipient of both the Bert C. and Lydia M Corwin Contact Lens Award and the Johnson & Johnson Award for Excellence in Contact Lens Patient care.

She is a frequent lecturer, writer, and industry consultant in the topic of specialty contact lenses, as well as practice management.

Prior to moving back to her home state of Arizona, Dr. Morrison worked in the cornea department of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai in Manhattan specializing in corneal diseases and complications.

She is inspired by her patients who have overcome many visual obstacles and are motivated to regain quality vision once again.

Our Approach

Personal, Compassionate, Wellbeing

At In Focus, you aren’t one of many, you are unique and treated that way! By keeping the practice small and specialized, you get individualized quality care, every time.

Dr. Morrison schedules up to an hour with each patient in order to create unique solutions to your vision issues.

Her concierge-like approach provides you with the time it takes to answer all your questions, provide quality personalized solutions, and communicate with your other medical providers for the best care possible.

Our Story

Dr. Morrison became interested in specialty contact lenses at a young age. In middle school she was told that because of a reaction to her soft contact lenses she would be unable to wear contact lenses again. After years of trying many kinds of advanced contact lenses, her eyes became very dry and even with treatment, lenses were too uncomfortable to wear.

These problems motivated her to become an optometrist and take all the advanced education necessary to learn as much about specialty contact lenses as possible. She was fit in custom designed scleral lenses and has been able to wear contact lenses comfortably since.

Because Dr. Morrison has tried every type of contact lens available, she knows how important to have a Doctor who has a vast knowledge of designing quality contact lenses and how to deal with complicated issues and cases.

Our office was opened to provide patients a truly top-quality experience with all the technology necessary to design innovative solutions to complicated visual issues. We schedule enough time with each patient to provide thoughtful care and address all issues related to their vision. All patients have direct access to Dr. Morrison for answers to their questions and concerns.

It is not enough to say "there's nothing we can do" without exhausting all options.
