About Me

Dr. Kaci Kramer Oldroyd

Dr. Kaci Kramer Oldroyd’s passion for specialty contact lenses comes from personal experience. After undergoing LASIK, she expected to enjoy clear, effortless vision. But what she didn’t know at the time was that she had an underlying corneal condition and developed post-LASIK ectasia. Ectasia occurs when a progressive thinning disorder, such as keratoconus, is present but undiagnosed before LASIK. The surgery, meant to improve vision, instead made her cornea irregular, leaving her unable to see well with glasses or standard contact lenses.

Struggling to find a solution, she was introduced to specialty contact lenses. For the first time, she experienced clear, stable vision again. This life-changing experience sparked her dedication to helping others with similar challenges. She understood firsthand how difficult it could be to navigate vision problems, and she wanted to ensure no patient had to go through that journey alone.

For the past 25 years, Dr. Kramer has dedicated her career to fitting specialty contact lenses, including rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, scleral lenses, and custom soft lenses. She has also worked extensively with pre- and post-operative surgical patients, managing complex corneal conditions such as corneal transplants, scarring, and infections.

Because she has lived with the same challenges her patients face, Dr. Kramer is deeply committed to designing high-quality, custom lens solutions. She takes the time to listen, problem-solve, and create a plan that allows each patient to achieve their best possible vision.

At In Focus Vision Solutions, she is proud to provide the advanced technology and personal attention necessary to help patients regain both their vision and confidence.
